NPC ranks sixth on list of Best Places to Work in PA for 2011

Best Places to Work in PA 2011Claysburg, PA – NPC, Inc. earned the No. 6 spot on the list of Best Places to Work in PA for 2011 in the large-sized company category (251 or more employees). The Best Places to Work in PA list is made up of 100 companies split into two groups — medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and large-sized companies.

NPC, which made the list for the fourth consecutive year, was recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony on December 1, 2011, at the Lancaster County Convention Center. NPC ranked No. 8 on the 2010 list.

The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first of its kind offered by a state in the country. The program is a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business Journal.

NPC has been an integral part of the Blair County business community since 1954. The company, which is privately held, operates production facilities in Claysburg, Roaring Spring, and Altoona, Pennsylvania. Employing nearly 500 people, NPC provides government and commercial businesses with print and electronic document solutions. NPC is delivering on the promise of providing employment opportunities for self-reliant individuals to improve their quality and standard of living.
