When Abbey Wisor stepped into NPC, she expected to fill a content editing role. Instead, she found herself plunged into a world of unique coding languages and complex software systems. “It was a curveball,” Abbey says with an infectious laugh. “But it was the kind of challenge that wakes you up in the morning, buzzing with energy. And truly, what made it all worthwhile was the people—the kind of teammates who turn challenges into adventures.”
Abbey’s ability to absorb new skills and lead initiatives didn’t go unnoticed. Just six months in, she was challenged once again. Abbey set out to rebuild NPC’s training and development program. “It was about understanding each trainee’s potential and finding ways to unlock it,” Abbey explains. Her dedication transformed the training process and paved the way for her current role, where she designs career paths and training that align with clear performance goals. “It’s about creating a blueprint for success—not just for me but for everyone at NPC.”
Abbey discovered a community within NPC that championed her growth and harnessed her strengths. “NPC isn’t just a workplace; it’s a launchpad for personal and professional growth. The leaders challenged me to think and collaborate differently while embracing my talents,” she shares. Realizing the impact she could have on the lives of others really energized her.
