NPC employees never hesitate to support RMHC Mid-Penn Region Golf Outing

And the 2018 event that supports Ronald McDonald House Charities was no exception

For the past three years, NPC employees Mike Langer, Carey Dicken and Don Wolfhope have participated in the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Mid-Penn Region Golf Outing. And not just because they share a love of the game.

Asked why the team decides to participate in the scramble-style tournament year after year, Carey answered, “The cause.”

A cause both Don Wolfhope and Mike Langer are familiar with.

“My stepson had issues when he was young, born little as a baby, and the Ronald McDonald House put my wife up,” explained Don. “This is one way for me to help and give back for them helping her, and one of the main reasons why I like getting into this tournament.”

Mike easily relates to a time when his son was younger and needed help.

“When my son was younger, he was life-flighted to Pittsburgh Hospital. So, for me, it’s about giving money back for a good cause and understanding what they do,” Mike said.
