NPC teams support We CARE Foundation Softball Marathon

NPC’s Team Green tops Team Orange in softball event, but the real winner is the We CARE Foundation

The NPC organization as a whole spends hours every day working to provide quality service and support to our fellow employees, partners, customers and community.

For the fourth year in a row, some of those same employees took the field to represent NPC’s Team Green and Team Orange for three hours of friendly competition and co-worker fun at Legion Park in Hollidaysburg, PA, on August 11 to support the 2018 We CARE Foundation Softball Marathon.

Over 20 teams with players from area companies and organizations played softball throughout the weekend to support the Softball Marathon. This year’s event raised approximately $14,000 to help kids with special needs in and around the Altoona area.

Sure, we all have a serious side and some of us are more competitive than others on the softball field, but we all try to have a lot of fun in the process. And for all those wondering (or keeping score), NPC Team Green outslugged Team Orange this year.

NPC Team Green was coached by Luke Barnhart, while NPC Team Orange was led by Josh Barnhart.
